Ordered the RedrockMicro DSLR rig; exciting!

After having compared 101 DSLR rigs, inlcuding the wellknown Zacuto rigs, i have eventually chosen the RedrockMicro Field Cinema DSLR Rig.
It will arrive next week or so and that’s SO COOL – i’ll be able to show it off in a week during the DSLR Shooters Gathering in Amsterdam.

I’ll keep you posted… Read the previous post about the RR Field Cinema DSLR rig: the Article

Very nice. Can you take part of that unit and put it on a tripod? Or do you have to buy something else entirely for tripod use?

The shoulderpad has a tripod thread, so you can mount it on a tripod without the need for any extra plates or stuff!

Martin, you rock. That’s the same rig I decided on (by no help of Redrock Micro’s site and sample photos).

I think I’m going to redesign their site and submit some Photoshop comps. I had to watch their vimeo tutorial to finally get that “ah ha” moment where I understand how their stuff works. They don’t even have the field bundle pictured like the do the cinema (until the purchase page).

    Hey Martin,

    hope you like the rig!

The DSLR Shooters Gathering you mentioned, when is this taking place? Do they have a website? I would like to visit if possible?

    Cheers,
    Richard

No problem, I just posted the question today🙂

But are there future gatherings? If you could post a url to a website or a place where I can find more info, that would be cool.
